- Quality of Life
- Greenville is the type of community that most strive
to become. The people here enjoy a sense of togetherness and pride in their town. The
years continue to add more character to the town and never erase qualities like the quaint
downtown square, municipal band performances, the county fair, Fourth of July Fireworks,
high school homecoming parades, the fall harvest, apple butter sale, and the Christmas
Bazaar. Greenville remains a community that cares about the education of its
young, the job opportunities of the working residents, and the care of its older
residents.
- Located on Interstate 70, Greenville offers the best
of both worlds. We offer all of the amenities of living in a small rural community. Job
opportunities, modest cost of living, safety and security. However, the hustle and bustle
of St. Louis, home of the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Rams, is only 45 miles away.

| Greenville is unique in
many ways. Our community follows the National Main Street guidelines where a concentrated effort
continues to be made to keep our downtown thriving.
Our downtown is centered around the historic Bond County
Courthouse. Greenville's downtown features a variety of products. You will enjoy shopping
the Third Street Market Antique Mall, featuring a unique blend of new and old merchandise; Sherri's
Place and Homespun
Treasures,
with fine homemade crafts; Watson's Drug Store featuring one of the few Hallmark Gold
Crown stores in the area; and Spies' Sports, Victoria's, and more.
Dining is a pleasure in
Greenville with two 50's Cafes and a true Italian pizzeria.
