Home of the World Powered Parachute Championships

The Greenville Municipal Airport is located on Illinois Rt. 127 south of Greenville. The airport is capable of handling most aircraft up through the Citation and Lear Jet class. The Greenville Municipal Airport provides a lighted runway, rental hangars, mechanic service, and pilot service. Aviation fuels are available as well.

The Greenville Airport is also home to the Greater St. Louis Parachute Club.

Greenville Pilot's Association(GPA)
Each year in October, an Open House is held at the airport. It features around one hundred aircraft including kit and experimental planes and helicopters.  It also includes skydivers, static displays as well as rides in assorted airplanes, gliders, etc.
